Chandra Methi Masala Puri are small, crisp fried puris made with fresh fenugreek leaves and fresh green chillies worked into a dough of wheat flour, semolina and gram flour, with ajwain, sesame seeds and turmeric. Methi gives them a gently bitter, herby flavour that sits well against the chilli, and the semolina keeps them crunchy. Find more savoury snacks in our Namkeen range.
How to use it
Eat them with masala chai, or with a spoon of mango pickle, chhundo or plain yoghurt. They make a good travel snack and a crisp side to a bowl of dal or kadhi. Keep the bag sealed after opening so they stay crunchy.
