CBL Lanka Soy Polos Curry Taste brings the flavour of polos, the Sri Lankan young jackfruit curry, to soya nuggets. The curry mix is 21% dried polos powder with a roasted style blend of chilli, coriander, cumin, pepper, mustard, fenugreek, cinnamon, curry leaves, rampe and cloves, and it is cooked in coconut milk. How to use it
Soak the nuggets in salted hot water for 5 minutes, strain and squeeze them out thoroughly. Add the curry mix and stir well, then add a cup (200ml) of coconut milk with green chillies, rampe, curry leaves, cinnamon, cardamom and tomatoes. Cook until the curry becomes thick, then finish with ginger, garlic and dried chilli pieces tempered in 12ml of oil. Serve with red rice and a coconut sambol.
