CBL Lanka Soy Mutton Flavour is a pack of defatted soya nuggets with a mutton flavoured curry mix, for a rich Sri Lankan style mutton curry made with soya. The sachet keeps it simple: curry powder, corn starch, sugar, salt and mutton flavour. The nuggets soak up the gravy and hold a firm, meaty bite. How to use it
Soak the nuggets in salted hot water, strain away the excess, wash with cold water and squeeze thoroughly. Add the flavour mix and let it marinate. Heat 7ml of oil and temper ground ginger and garlic with rampe, curry leaves, onions and green chillies, add the nuggets and temper for 3 minutes. Add a cup of water with tamarind or tomatoes, simmer for 3 minutes and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
