CBL Lanka Soy Devilled Chicken Flavoured is soya nuggets made for the Sri Lankan devilled style: a hot chilli and chicken flavour mix, plus a chilli paste sachet with palm olein, tomato sauce, dried shrimp, garlic and soya sauce. Cooked with onions, capsicums and tomatoes it turns into a sticky, fiery devilled dish to serve with rice or with drinks. The paste contains dried shrimp, so this flavour is not vegetarian. How to use it
Soak the nuggets in salted hot water for 5 minutes, strain, wash with water and squeeze thoroughly. Heat oil and temper rampe, curry leaves, crushed ginger and garlic, add the nuggets and saute well. Add the flavour mix, the chilli paste, 2 teaspoons of sugar and a cup (200ml) of water, then cook until the curry becomes thick. Add chopped onions, capsicums and tomatoes, cook for a few minutes more and serve hot.
