CBL Lanka Soy Curry Taste pairs defatted soya nuggets with a proper Sri Lankan curry mix: the sachet is more than half curry powder, with chilli, coriander, cumin and black pepper, mustard, fennel and cinnamon, rampe, curry leaves and lemongrass. It cooks into a dark, peppery soya curry for rice and roti, with 48.5g of protein per 100g as packed. Find more ready flavoured soya in our Flavoured Soya Meat range.
How to use it
Soak the nuggets in salted hot water, strain, wash with cold water and squeeze them out well. Add the curry mix and let them marinate for 3 minutes. Heat 9ml of oil and temper ground ginger and garlic with rampe, curry leaves, onions and green chillies, then add the marinated nuggets and fry for 3 minutes. Pour in a cup (200ml) of water with tamarind or tomatoes and simmer for 3 minutes.
