CBL Lanka Soy Chilli Chicken Flavoured is the hot one in the range: defatted soya nuggets with a chilli mix that is 40% chilli powder, plus a separate tomato sauce sachet for a sticky, glossy finish. It cooks into a Sri Lankan style chilli chicken with soya in place of meat, with 47g of protein per 100g as packed. Find more ready flavoured soya in our Flavoured Soya Meat range.
How to use it
Soak the nuggets in salted hot water for 5 minutes, strain, wash with cold water and squeeze them out thoroughly. Heat 9ml of oil and temper ground ginger and garlic with rampe, curry leaves, onions and green chillies. Add the soaked nuggets, the flavour mix and the tomato sauce, then half a cup (100ml) of water. Mix well and cook at a low flame until the sauce clings to the nuggets. Serve with fried rice or as a hot side with drinks.
