Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea is Hindustan Unilever's premium Indian black tea, sold here in a 1kg family carton. The pack describes it as rich and flavourful, and the leaf brews a bright, aromatic cup with a smooth body that works with or without milk. The only ingredient is tea, packed in India, and the blend may contain up to 5% tea of Nepal origin. It is a good size for households that drink chai several times a day. How to use it
The pack advises preparing it with fresh boiling water or milk. For chai, simmer one teaspoon per cup in water and milk with sugar for two to three minutes, then strain. Add cardamom, ginger or cinnamon for a spiced cup. For a lighter tea, brew a teaspoon in freshly boiled water for three to four minutes and add milk to taste.
