Birds Eye Crunchy Southern Fried Chicken is a pack of 2 chicken grills in a crunchy, golden southern fried style coating, made from 100% chicken breast with no artificial colours or preservatives. Each grill comes to about 238 calories when air fried, and the pack is designed to be cooked from frozen, so there is no need to defrost or plan ahead. How to use it
This chicken contains raw meat, so make sure it is cooked thoroughly until piping hot throughout. It is tastiest cooked from frozen in an air fryer: place up to 2 grills in the basket at 180°C for 14 minutes, turning over halfway, cook until crisp and allow to stand for 1 minute. To oven bake from frozen, pre-heat to 200°C, fan 180°C or gas mark 6 and cook on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 25 minutes until crisp. To grill from frozen, pre-heat a medium grill and cook for 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve with potato wedges, sweetcorn and mixed vegetables, or slice into a wrap with salad and mayo.
