Birds Eye Chargrilled Original Chicken grills are formed from chopped, marinated chicken breast, lightly fried, seared with chargrill stripes and finished with a savoury glaze of onion, herbs, black pepper and a touch of smoke. Chicken breast makes up 75% of the recipe and the pack is marked made from 100% chicken breast, with no artificial colours or preservatives. How to use it
These grills contain raw meat, so make sure they are cooked thoroughly until piping hot throughout. They are tasty when oven baked straight from the freezer: pre-heat the oven to 190°C, fan 170°C or gas mark 5, place the grills on a baking tray in the middle of the oven with the glazed side facing up and cook for 20 to 22 minutes. They are not suitable for the air fryer because of the glaze. Slice and serve on a Caesar salad with cherry tomatoes, in a wrap with salad, or with rice and vegetables.
