Ardo Sweetcorn is sweet, crispy corn kernels frozen soon after picking, ready to pour from the bag with no cobs to strip. The bright yellow kernels bring sweetness and crunch to salads, rice and wraps, and the pack notes that an 80g serving counts as one of your five a day. How to use it
To boil, place the amount you need in a saucepan of boiling water, season to taste, bring back to the boil, cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes until tender, then drain. To microwave, place 225g in a covered non-metallic dish and cook on full power for 5 minutes at 800W or 4 minutes at 900W, stirring halfway, then drain. Use it in corn chaat, masala corn, sweetcorn soup, fried rice, pasta salads and wraps.
