Ardo Leaf Spinach in Portions is whole spinach leaves quick-frozen soon after harvest and pressed into handy portions, so you can cook just what you need. The leaves keep more texture than chopped spinach, which suits dishes where you want to see the greens. It is low in fat and a source of fibre and protein, with no washing or trimming needed. How to use it
Cook before eating. Heat the portions you need in a pan with a little water over a medium heat, stirring, or in a covered bowl in the microwave until piping hot, then squeeze out any extra water if the recipe needs it. Use it for saag, palak dal, spinach and chickpea curry, Sri Lankan mallung-style dishes, quiches and pasta bakes.
