Akash Basmati Rice is an aged long grain basmati, packed in a 10kg bag for households that cook rice most days. The pack describes grains chosen from the Punjab valleys and other basmati growing areas, then left to rest and age naturally so they cook up fluffy, separate and fragrant. The front carries a Superior Aged Quality mark.
How to use it
Allow 60g of rice per person and add it to a large pan of boiling water. Cook on a medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, drain well, cover and leave to stand for 3 minutes, then fork lightly through the grains and serve.
