Ahmed Mango Jam is a smooth, golden fruit spread from Ahmed Foods of Karachi, a Pakistani brand established in 1952. Each 100g of jam is prepared with 45g of mango pulp and 54g of sugar, set with pectin and lifted with citric acid and mango flavouring. How to use it
Spread on toast, paratha, rusks or warm buttered bread for breakfast or teatime. Sandwich it between sponge layers, spoon it into thumbprint biscuits, or swirl it through plain yoghurt or kulfi-style ice cream. Warmed with a splash of water, it makes a quick glaze for fruit tarts, and a spoonful stirred into a mango lassi or milkshake adds extra sweetness. The label uses one tablespoon (20g) as a serving.
