Laziza is a Pakistani food brand known for dessert mixes and spice blends, and it is a familiar name in Pakistani households in the UK, especially around Ramadan and Eid. The style is classic Lahori and Karachi home cooking: creamy milk puddings, fragrant festival sweets and bold masalas for meat dishes.
On the sweet side, our Laziza range covers kheer mixes including firni, gajar kheer and sheer khurma, rasmalai and gulab jamun mixes, falooda, flavoured custard powder and jelly. The masalas include biryani, tikka, kebab, chicken, meat, karahi and korma, haleem and nihari, chana, vegetable and chaat masala, plus chutneys.
Sheer khurma is the dish of Eid morning, vermicelli simmered in milk with dates and nuts, and Laziza's mix makes it simple for a crowd. Firni is set in clay bowls and chilled, and rasmalai mixes produce soft discs to soak in saffron milk. For savoury cooking, karahi masala goes into chicken or lamb cooked with tomatoes and green chilli, behari kebab masala flavours thin beef strips for the grill, and haleem masala seasons the slow-cooked wheat and meat dish served at Muharram and iftar.
Keep opened masalas sealed and use dessert mixes before the date on the pack. To compare with another Pakistani spice house, see the Shan range, and browse all our dessert mixes.
