Miele Ambrosoli is Italian honey with a soft, floral sweetness and a pourable texture that drizzles cleanly from the spoon. A jar for breakfast, for a cup of tea and for finishing desserts at the table.

Ambrosoli is an Italian honey and confectionery name, known at home for its honey and for the honey sweets that carry the same name. Miele simply means honey in Italian, and the jars bring that Italian style of mild, golden honey to the breakfast table.
We stock Miele Ambrosoli in our honey collection, part of the breakfast and spreads department. It is a clear, runny honey, so it sits among the liquid honeys and squeeze bottles, not the thick set and creamed jars, and it comes in a smaller and a larger jar.
Runny honey like this is easy to measure into baking, salad dressings and marinades, and it dissolves straight into warm lemon water or a cup of ginger tea. Drizzle it over Greek yoghurt with walnuts, ricotta on toast, or a slice of pecorino for an Italian style cheese plate. In South Asian kitchens a spoonful sweetens a lassi, glazes roasted carrots, or goes into a honey and ginger chai on a cold morning. Choose the smaller jar if you use honey only now and then, so it is finished while at its most fragrant.
Store honey at room temperature with the lid tight, never in the fridge, where it thickens and clouds. If it crystallises over time, stand the jar in a bowl of warm water and stir until it turns clear again. To compare styles, see the set honey from Rowse and our jam shelf.
