Miele Ambrosoli has been packing honey near Lake Como since 1923, and this tall 500g jar is the house blend of flower honeys, sourced from within and outside the EU, including Argentina. It pours clear and golden with a gentle floral sweetness that does not overpower tea, desserts or baking. The family-size jar comes with Ambrosoli's honeycomb lid and green guarantee strip, and suits households that use honey every day.
How to use it
Use it on toast and porridge, stir it into lemon and ginger tea, or whisk it into dressings and marinades. For festive cooking, sweeten a sabudana kheer or a bowl of fruit and curd for a Navratri fast, glaze roasted nuts with a spoon of honey and a pinch of cardamom, or brush it over warm baklava-style pastries. When baking with honey, lower the oven by about 20°C, as it browns faster than sugar.
