Three Bears Mellow and Mild Honey is a smooth, light runny honey with a gentle, rounded sweetness that suits everyday use. It is a blend of honeys from more than one country, packed in the UK by Meadows Honey Ltd, and comes in a 320g squeezy bottle with a flip-top cap that pours cleanly with no sticky spoon. The label suggests it for breakfast and as a swap for sugar in marinades, dressings and glazes.
How to use it
Drizzle over porridge, yoghurt, pancakes or hot buttered toast, or stir a spoonful into warm water with lemon and ginger. In the kitchen, whisk it into vinaigrettes, brush it over roasting carrots or paneer tikka, or mix with soy and garlic for a sticky glaze. During Navratri, honey sweetens fruit chaat, makhana and dried fruit mixes and a glass of warm milk. Honey naturally crystallises over time: stand the bottle in hot water until it runs clear again.
