Shaheen Thai Jasmine Rice is AAA grade Thai hom mali fragrant rice from Thailand, packed in a 2kg bag. It has the soft texture and sweet, floral aroma that make jasmine rice the everyday rice of Thai and South East Asian kitchens, and it is a simple, good value choice for weeknight meals.
How to use it
Rinse the rice in cold water. Cook one cup of rice with one and a quarter cups of water: bring to the boil, cover, lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, then leave covered off the heat for another ten minutes before fluffing. Serve with Thai curries, sweet and sour dishes and grilled meats, or use day-old rice for fried rice.
