Fudco Sunflower Seeds are hulled sunflower kernels in a 1kg bag, ready to eat or cook with straight from the pack. The large size is good value for households that sprinkle seeds on breakfast every morning, bake their own bread or make granola and snack bars in batches.
How to use it
Dry roast a few cups at a time in a heavy pan for four to five minutes, stirring, until golden and nutty, then cool and keep in a jar. Use them on porridge, raita, salads and stir-fries, or blend toasted seeds with a little oil and salt into a seed butter. For homemade chikki or energy bars, mix with sesame, peanuts and pumpkin seeds and bind with melted jaggery.
