Naturbal Honeycomb Syrup in the round jar is the gift version of Aranynektár's Hungarian honeycomb spread, with a generous slab of real honeycomb in a golden fructose-glucose syrup with honey. In this jar the comb makes up 17%, more than in the tall jar, with 9% honey and the rest syrup. The squat glass pot with its black moon and star label looks the part in an Eid or Diwali hamper. It holds 450g.
How to use it
Cut a piece of comb with a knife and spread it on warm toast, crumpets or a fresh paratha so the wax softens and the honey runs. Spoon the syrup over Greek yoghurt, porridge or pancakes. On a festive dessert table, set a square of comb beside kheer, halwa or a plate of dry fruit for guests to help themselves. Keep the lid closed between uses.
