Naturbal Honey Syrup comes in a squeezy bottle with a flip-top cap, which makes it easy to drizzle without sticky spoons. Made in Hungary by Aranynektár, it is a bread spread of fructose-glucose syrup with 10% honey, so expect a clear, golden syrup with a gentle honey taste. It is not pure honey, and is sold as an everyday sweet spread. The 300g bottle fits neatly in a cupboard or on the breakfast table.
How to use it
Squeeze it straight over toast, pancakes, waffles and porridge, or into tea and warm milk. It makes a quick glaze for roasted nuts and seeds: toss almonds or makhana with a drizzle, a pinch of cardamom and a little ghee, then roast until crisp for a festive snack bowl. Children can manage the bottle themselves, and the cap keeps the nozzle clean between uses.
