Luck Nature packs Ceylon tea and spice for export: golden tips, white tea, Earl Grey, cinnamon teas, Ceylon pepper and true cinnamon quills. Small, careful packs that make thoughtful gifts as well as fine everyday cups.
Luck Nature packs teas and spices from Sri Lanka for export, presented in neat gift style packs. The range leans towards speciality grades and flavoured blends, alongside two of the island's most famous spices, pepper and true cinnamon.
Most of the Luck Nature range we carry sits under Ceylon speciality tea: golden tips, white tea, Earl Grey and green and black teas flavoured with cinnamon. There is a purple iced tea and a spiced blend under masala chai, while the spice side covers black and white peppercorns and Ceylon cinnamon sticks.
Golden tips and white tea are made from young buds, so brew them with water just off the boil, steep for a few minutes and drink them plain to taste their honeyed, delicate notes. The cinnamon teas suit an afternoon cup with a slice of love cake or a few biscuits. Ceylon black pepper goes into Sri Lankan pepper chicken and black pork curry, and white pepper into soups and pale sauces. True Ceylon cinnamon, soft, papery and layered, is sweeter and gentler than cassia, which is why Sri Lankan cooks prefer it in curries and in kaha bath, the festive yellow rice.
Keep speciality teas in their tins or a dark, airtight jar, since light and air dull the aroma of white and golden tea fastest. Grind pepper only as you need it. To compare with everyday blends, see our loose leaf tea and the whole spices collection.
