Nestlé Nido Instant Full Cream Milk Powder is whole milk dried to a fine, free-flowing powder with at least 26% fat, made in the Netherlands for Nestlé. It dissolves quickly in water and gives a creamy, full-flavoured milk that many families prefer for tea and children's drinks. The 400g tin is the size to try Nido for the first time or to keep for occasional cooking.
How to use it
For a 250ml glass, stir 35g (three tablespoons) into 225ml of cold or warm water. A tin makes around eleven glasses. In the kitchen, add two or three spoonfuls to a pan of kheer or sabudana payasam to thicken it faster, use it in gulab jamun or milk barfi for Diwali, or whisk a spoon into masala chai for a richer cup. It also keeps well for travel and camping.
