Fudco Sugar Candy Crystals in the 375g bag are small clear crystals of mishri, the crystallised sugar that sits on almost every puja thali in India. It is an everyday size for the home shrine and the dining table, where a little mishri with fennel seeds is the traditional way to end a meal.
How to use it
Place a few crystals on the thali as bhog during Navratri aarti, or mix with makhana, dried coconut and dry fruit for panchmeva prasad. Fill a small dish with mishri and saunf to pass round after dinner. A crystal or two stirred into warm milk with a pinch of cardamom makes a simple bedtime drink, and mishri also sweetens thandai and lemon water without clouding them.
