Fudco Pistachio Kernels in the 600g bag are shelled, unsalted Iranian pistachios packed in the UK for households and cooks who get through a lot of them. Diwali boxes of barfi, trays of baklava and big pans of kheer all call for pistachios by the handful, and this size saves buying small packs again and again.
How to use it
Blanch the kernels for a minute, drain and pinch off the skins for vivid green slivers to press onto kaju katli, peda and barfi. Grind them finely with sugar for pista barfi or a pistachio filling, or chop roughly and stir into shrikhand, phirni and kulfi. Toast a handful in ghee to finish pulao or a festive halwa. Keep the bag sealed and cool between uses.
