Fudco Jumbo Cashew Nuts are extra large whole cashews from the Ivory Coast, packed in a protective atmosphere in a 250g bag. The bigger kernels look generous in a dry fruit tray or gift box and hold their shape when roasted, so they are the cashews to choose when presentation matters, as it does for Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali visitors.
How to use it
Set them out whole in a festive dry fruit platter, or roast them: warm a teaspoon of ghee, add the cashews and stir over a low heat for four to five minutes until golden, then season with rock salt and crushed black pepper for a vrat-friendly snack. Fried whole, they crown biryani, pulao, kheer and sheera. They can also be ground for kaju katli or soaked and blended for creamy gravies.
