Bodrum Organic Honey is a raw and unfiltered organic honey produced in Bulgaria for Gima (UK), the London company behind the Bodrum range. It carries both the EU organic logo and the Soil Association organic mark, and because it is unfiltered it keeps a natural, full flavour. Like most raw honey it may crystallise over time, which is a sign it has not been heat treated.
How to use it
Use it to sweeten tea, porridge or warm milk, drizzle it over yoghurt and fruit, or spread it on toast. During Navratri and Diwali pujas, a spoonful of honey goes into panchamrit along with milk, curd, ghee and sugar, and a clean organic honey suits the offering. In the kitchen it also works in salad dressings, marinades and honey cakes. If it sets solid, stand the jar in warm water and stir until it loosens.
