777 Rose Syrup is a rose sharbat from Sri Ganeshram's 777 brand, made by SGR (777) Foods in Gummidipoondi, Tamil Nadu. It is a bright pink, rose-flavoured syrup in the South Indian style, sweet and fragrant, and it is the quickest way to make the rose milk served at weddings, temple festivals and family get-togethers. The 750ml bottle gives around 37 servings.
How to use it
For rose milk, the pack suggests five teaspoons of syrup stirred into a cup (150ml) of cool milk. Chill well and serve in tall glasses. For a festive falooda during Navratri or Diwali, layer two tablespoons of syrup in a glass with soaked sabja seeds and cooked falooda sev, top up with cold milk and finish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For a lighter drink, dilute with chilled water or soda and a squeeze of lime.
