Fudco Whole Pepper Black is a 100g bag of whole dried black peppercorns, the pungent spice that brings heat and aroma to Indian, British and almost every other cuisine. Whole peppercorns hold their flavour far longer than ground pepper, so this small bag is ideal for refilling a mill or grinding just what a recipe needs.
How to use it
Grind fresh over eggs, salads and dal, or crush a spoonful coarsely for pepper rasam, pepper chicken fry or Chettinad masala. Add a few whole peppercorns to hot ghee with cloves, bay leaf and cinnamon when starting a pulao or biryani. Dry roasted pepper is part of most garam masala and chai masala blends. During Navratri fasts, black pepper with rock salt is a common seasoning for fruit chaat, sabudana vada and vrat potatoes.
