Fudco Seedless Dry Apricots are whole dried apricots from Turkey with the stones removed, packed in a generous 800g bag. They are naturally sweet and chewy, and in Indian homes they turn up on dry fruit platters, in festive desserts and in the classic Hyderabadi khubani ka meetha.
How to use it
Eat them as they are, or chop into breakfast oats, kheer and sheer khurma. For khubani ka meetha, soak 250g of apricots overnight, then simmer in the soaking water with sugar until soft and jammy; serve chilled with cream or custard and toasted almonds. Slivered apricots also brighten a festive pulao or biryani alongside cashews and raisins, and they sit well on a Diwali platter with dates and pistachios.
