Fudco Deluxe Assorted Nuts is a mix of five whole, unsalted nuts: cashews, almonds, walnut halves, pecans and Brazil nuts. Fudco packs it in the UK as a sharing bag, and the 250g size is ideal for a bowl on the table when visitors call during Navratri, Dussehra and Diwali, or for a handful between meals.
How to use it
Serve straight from the bag in a dry fruit tray with dates and raisins, or warm the nuts in a dry pan for two minutes to bring out their flavour. For a festive snack, toss them in a teaspoon of melted ghee with a pinch of rock salt, black pepper and chaat masala and roast until golden. Chopped, the mix tops kheer, shrikhand and halwa, and it can be ground into a rich base for korma.
