Prima Chakki Fresh Atta is 100% wholegrain wheat flour from Prima, the Sri Lankan miller behind many of the island's favourite flours. It is aromatic and soft, with 0% maida, and it is milled for chapati, roti and poori with a fine, even texture that rolls out easily.
How to use it
Add warm water to the atta a little at a time, with a pinch of salt and a spoon of oil if you like, and knead into a soft dough that springs back when pressed. Cover and rest it for 15 minutes. Roll thin chapatis and cook them on a hot tawa, pressing the edges with a cloth so they puff. For poori, make a slightly stiffer dough and fry small rounds in hot oil until they balloon.
