Patanjali Cow Ghee in the tall 1kg tin, the size most families settle on once ghee goes into cooking every day. It is 99.8 per cent cow’s milk fat, made in Britain, with no preservatives, colours or flavours. It sets soft and grainy in the cupboard and melts to a clear gold with a gentle, nutty aroma.
How to use it
Fry whole spices in it for pulao, roast semolina for halwa, or use it in place of oil for a richer masala base. The smoke point is high enough for shallow frying pooris and pakoras.
