Heera Gluten Free Chakki Atta 1.5kg

Heera Gluten Free Chakki Atta is a wheat free chapati flour, made for anyone who wants soft rotis without gluten. A blend of maize, potato and tapioca starch with teff and sorghum flour is held together by psyllium husk and natural gums, so the dough rolls and puffs much like ordinary atta.

How to use it

Mix the flour with hot water and a pinch of salt; the heat activates the binders and gives the dough its stretch. It needs more water than wheat atta, so add it slowly while you knead. Rest the dough briefly, roll small, thin chapatis on a well floured board and cook them on a hot tawa, pressing the edges with a cloth so they puff. The same dough makes parathas and puris.
