TRS Sarson Ka Saag 850g

TRS sarson ka saag 850g is green mustard leaves in a curry sauce with ginger, onion, garlic and green chilli, cooked and ready to heat, produced in India. At 94 per cent mustard leaf it is the sharper, more traditional of the two saags we sell; the KTC tin blends in spinach and comes out milder. One tin serves four with roti.

How to use it

Heat gently in a pan, stirring, until piping hot, then finish with a tarka of garlic and a little red chilli fried in ghee or butter poured over the top. Serve with makki di roti, white butter and a piece of gur, or with plain roti and a raw onion.
